BORREGO VETERANS DETACHMENT

The Borrego Veterans Detachment, long a Veterans Fixture of Borrego Springs, has been disestablished. In order to carry on the traditions established by the BVD, it has turned its assets over to The American Legion, Post 853.

These are . . . . . CASH $5,675.38 Metal Building: 787 Ave Sureste, 30’ x 50’, Electricity installed, metered water to building, San Diego County tax assessed value of $50,000. Antique 1941 White Military Scout Car: Model M3A1, with Parade Flags. Aluminum can trailer: located at Center Market parking lot. Flags with Poles: for display on Palm Canyon Dr. & Christmas Circle a total of 115 American and 6 MIA/POW and numerous other flags for future use LEMON AID STAND for dispensing lemon aid at special functions Tables, Chairs and Canopies for these special functions
